Ben's Book Reading Giggle Fest

Here Ben enjoys one of his recent favorite things- books with onomatopoeia. This one is a gift he got for his birthday- "Dancing Feet". It was a big hit.

That Easter Guy

No springtime would be complete without a visit from "That Easter Guy" (as Graham called him). The boys enjoyed some candy and few extra treats this past weekend. Being that Graham's non-Jewish parent is away, we didn't discuss it much in advance, which meant that he was super surprised to get chocolate for breakfast!!

Happy Birthday to My Benjamin

Graham sang a rendition of a birthday song to Ben that was just too cute not to record. Here he his, face covered with cake, singing his own version:

Ben's Birthday Song

Here's Ben at his Big 1 Year birthday party!! He enjoyed graham cracker cake with jelly filing and peanut butter buttercream icing. Yum. He wolfed it down.

Bro's

Bro's before...well, you know.

Here Ben shows his devotion by trying to bust Graham out of time out. And he tries to do this almost every single time G-man serves time.

A Little Party for the Little Guy

Thanks to Auntie Lindsay and Uncle Jeff (who hosted), and a whole lot of family (and take out food), Ben's first birthday was a total success. This kid is the consumate southerner and completely enjoyed his (favorite) birthday meal of chicken and biscuits, followed by his first birthday cake-a graham cracker cake with jam filling and peanutbutter buttercream icing. What kid doesn't like that combo?! Ben took a nap halfway through the party, and we're pretty sure he was hallucinating after all of the food he ate. He sat in his high chair for about ten minutes just doing trippy hand motions after he was done with his cake. All in all, I'd say he had a great first birthday party. Just the first in a long, long line of them.

Ben's Big 1

It's hard to believe that Ben is one year old already. It has been a crazy year, but Ben is well and fun; intelligent and sweet. We just couldn't ask for more. Here he is (NOT) blowing out his birthday candle.
