Ben Gets Some Much Needed Exercise

I took one look at Ben today and said,"Hey kid, if you want to build some muscle on those chubby little legs of yours, you're going to need to get more serious about your exercise regimen."

Here is a video of him...taking my advice to heart, I think.

Recording Breaking Baby

My baby the record breaker- here you can see him challenging the world record for number of fingers held in the mouth at one time. If he were limber enough he would have surely put his feet in as well. I asked him what motivated his efforts- he said...because he can!

Salon Time for Graham

Far be it from me to send my kid to a barber! Graham went to a great kiddie salon in Grandma's hometown today. This place was so super awesome, I am thinking about getting my hair cut there! Only if I can sit in the plane chair of course. Check out G-man driving his taxi in style. If you are in need of a kiddie haircut, I highly recommend it: https://www.pigtailsandcrewcuts.com/

Girlfriend Vacation...Kind Of

I had the rare opportunity to vacation with my friend Heather this past July...and her two kids...and my two kids. Oh, how times have changed for us!! What softens the blow? Room service and someone else making my bed. Plus, Heather and I could be raking leaves and we'd have a good time. Also I discovered that nothing is more entertaining to my kids than her kids. The boys loved all of the attention.

At the resort they had a fun restored old farm area. Here's mister Graham kicking the tires on his tractor and taking the time to smell the sunflowers. Had this been a working farm, I am certain that Graham would have been happy to be pressed into service.

Ben's First Carrots

I might as well buy stock in Oxy Clean- we now have our next kid in carrots- and when I say "in" carrots, I mean carrots in his ears, hair (what hair he has), diaper, and most assuredly on his clothes and face. Ben is a good eater and seems so far to prefer these veggies to anything else he has had. But seriously, just chain me to the washing machine. Why are there no albino carrots?! I tacked on this pic of Graham's first carrots just for fun...

Future parents be warned- expect to have to buy some new clothing- and I am not talking about clothing for the baby.
